font-variant
Baseline Widely available
This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The font-variant
attribute indicates whether the text is to be rendered using variations of the font's glyphs.
Note:
As a presentation attribute, font-variant
also has a CSS property counterpart: font-variant
. When both are specified, the CSS property takes priority.
You can use this attribute with the following SVG elements:
Example
<svg viewBox="0 0 250 30" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg">
<text y="20" font-variant="normal">Normal text</text>
<text x="100" y="20" font-variant="small-caps">Small-caps text</text>
